Job summary

Fuse Recruitment are currently seeking experienced Production Labourers to work in Hand Sorting roles for our client who is a National Leader in their field specialising in manufacturing of building products. Located in Carole Park with free onsite parking available. These roles are temp to perm after three months!

You will work as a Hand sorter and production labourer All-rounder in a team environment. Duties include sorting through sheets of timber and loading onto machinery, counting stock,

Qualifications

• LF Forklift and counter balance forklift experience.
• Experience with oversized pallets and freight.
• Pick packing and palletising stock.
• Shrink wrapping (manual and machine).
• Experience with timber/wood products.
• WHS knowledge.
• Ability to lift products up to 20kg.
• Willingness to commit to an ongoing role.

Responsibilities

• Load timber sheets onto cutting machinery.
• Manually stack oversized sheets onto pallets.
• Load oversized pallets up to 6 metres long.
• Count stock and check for defects.
• Wrap and strap pallets.
• Palletise and pack goods for shipment.
• Transfer products from rework area to strapping area via Counter Balance forklift.
• Perform quality assurance checks.
