Job summary

Alice's Hair Artistry on the Central Coast is seeking a talented hair professional to care for clients across colour, foils, balayage, cutting and styling. You will work independently yet be part of a friendly team and help apprentices develop their skills.

There is potential to build a regular clientele and take on more responsibility as you settle in. The role offers flexible hours with full-time or part-time options; a Monday–Friday roster with Saturdays if desired.

Qualifications

• Hold a Certificate III in Hairdressing or higher, or be a confident third-year apprentice nearing completion.
• Confident in colour, cutting and styling.
• Reliable, takes initiative, and communicates openly with clients and teammates.

Responsibilities

You'll be looking after clients across colour, foils, balayage, cutting and styling. We're looking for someone confident working independently who also enjoys being part of a team and helping our apprentices develop their skills. There's an opportunity to build a regular clientele and take on more responsibility as you settle into the salon.

About you

• Hold a Certificate III in Hairdressing or a higher hairdressing qualification, or be a confident, capable third-year apprentice nearing completion
• Confident in colour, cutting and styling
• Reliable and take initiative
• Communicate openly and respectfully with clients and teammates
• No compulsory weekend work with Monday to Friday roster, or include Saturdays if they suit you
• Flexible hours and working arrangements, with full-time or part-time options to discuss
• Your birthday off, paid, when it falls on a day you're normally rostered to work
• Time off over Christmas, with salon usually closed for around two weeks over Christmas and New Year
• Established salon with opportunities to grow your clientele
