Job summary

Lismore Base Hospital, a regional referral centre in Northern NSW, seeks a Specialist Haematologist to deliver comprehensive Haematology services across inpatient and outpatient settings. The appointee will provide clinical leadership, participate in education and quality improvement, and contribute to a multidisciplinary team.

This Temporary Part-Time role is 8 hours per week from August 2026 to January 2029, with remuneration of AU$278,355 to AU$376,068 per annum FTE depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Eligible for registration as a Specialist Haematologist in Australia.
• Recent clinical experience in Haematology at role delineation level.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership.
• Commitment to teaching, continuing education, research and quality improvement.
• Availability to participate in an on-call roster and respond on site.
