Job summary

Belgravia Leisure operates the Portland Leisure and Aquatic Centre in VIC and is seeking a proactive Gym Instructor to engage members and deliver programs. The role focuses on personal training, group sessions and exceptional service, with training opportunities including Cert 3 in Fitness and related qualifications.

Candidates should have current PT credentials, Fitness Australia registration, and a willingness to work mornings, evenings and weekends at the Portland site.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of current health & fitness procedures.
• Personal Training with a variety of clientele.
• Commitment to customer service and strong communication.
• Minimum Certificate IV in Personal Training.
• Current registration with Fitness Australia or Physical Activity Australia.
• Current Senior First Aid Certificate.
• Current CPR Certificate.
• Working With Children Check.
• Police check as part of employment.
• Availability to work mornings, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

Do you have outstanding knowledge in health and fitness and have a passion for engaging members? We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and enthusiastic Gym Instructor.

The Role

We are looking for a dynamic fitnessprofessionals committed to delivering high levels of customer service and support to our members who can deliver programs and personal training to members on an as needs basis.

Traineeship

we are offering to pay for you to become qualified in Cert 3 in Fitness, as well as Lifeguard and Swim Teacher training. This person will need to be an all rounder to the site, but predominantly based in the gym.

Skills & Attributes

• Knowledge of current health & fitness procedures and practices.
• Personal Training with a variety of different clientele.
• A demonstrated commitment to customer service and well developed communication skills.
• Minimum Certificate IV in Personal Training
• Current fitness registration with Fitness Australia or Physical Activity Australia
• Current Senior First Aid Certificate
• Current CPR Certificate
• Valid Working With Children Check
• Agree to undergo police check as part of the employment process
• Driven to success with friendly can do attitude
• Availability to work mornings, evenings and weekends is essential
