Job summary

PCYC Queensland in Caloundra South is seeking a dynamic Gym and Fitness Leader to plan, develop and deliver high‑quality gym and group fitness programs, ensuring excellent instruction, supervision and service. You will drive membership growth, enhance the member experience and foster a welcoming, safe environment for all.

You will hold a Certificate III in Fitness, AUSactive registration and First Aid/CPR, with instructional experience and a track record of designing, delivering and evaluating

Qualifications

• Hold a minimum Certificate III (SIS30321) in Fitness or equivalent AQF qualification in a relevant area of practice (GEL qualification is not accepted). Core units SISFFIT032, SISFFIT033, SISFFIT035, SISFFIT036 are required.
• Holds current AUSactive registration
• Hold a current First Aid and CPR certificate
• Hold (or able to obtain before commencement) a QLD Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
• Instructional experience in the relevant area of practice; demonstrated experience in design, delivery and evaluation of programs

Responsibilities

• As Gym and Fitness Leader, you will plan, develop and deliver high-quality gym and group fitness programs with strong instruction, supervision and customer service.
• You will drive membership growth and retention, enhance the member experience and contribute to club success.
• You will work closely with members and staff to create a safe, inclusive, and motivating environment.
• You will contribute to program innovation and develop fitness team members while growing participation and community connection.
