Job summary

NRMA Parks & Resorts’ Murramarang Beachfront Holiday Resort in NSW invites you to join our friendly front office team. In this hands-on casual role, you’ll welcome guests from first booking to farewell, manage check-ins, and help guests enjoy a memorable coastal stay.

You’ll work 24–38 hours per week across a flexible 8:00am–6:00pm roster, including weekends and public holidays. No two days are the same, with opportunities to share local tips and coordinate with other teams to ensure guest needs

Qualifications

• Previous Front Office/Guest Service/Reservations experience
• Newbook experience (desirable)
• Warm, enthusiastic attitude and a passion for top-notch guest service
• Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to stay calm when busy
• Excellent communication and making guests feel special
• Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and public holidays

Responsibilities

• Complete reception tasks such as taking bookings, preparing invoices, and checking guests in and out
• Answer phone and email enquiries promptly and professionally
• Work closely with other teams to ensure rooms are guest-ready and stays run smoothly
• Ensure guest accounts are accurate and all transactions are handled with care
• Communicate clearly with the team to ensure smooth handovers and happy guests
• Support the team with any other tasks as needed
• Share local tips to help guests experience the best of the region

NRMA Murramarang Beachfront Holiday Resort will become your new home-away-from-home - surrounded by the spectacular Murramarang national park and stunning absolute beachfront. Located just north of Batemans Bay on the South Coast of NSW.

The Resort offers a large range of camp/caravan sites and accommodation options, from Beachfront Villa’s to Glamping Tents. We offer a multitude of facilities for the young and young at heart; resort style pools, licenced on-site dining options and conference/events/wedding facilities. As we are located in national park, this is not a pet friendly park BUT there is the opportunity for a daily mingle with the free roaming Kangaroos.

Job Description

What you’ll do

You’ll be the friendly face of our park, creating a warm welcome from the very first booking through to a fond farewell—helping guests relax, recharge and make unforgettable holiday memories by the coast.

We have a casual position available offering approximately 24-38 hours per week, with shifts rostered between the opening hours of 8:00am – 6:00pm. Weekend and public holiday availability will be required.

On a daily basis you will:

• Complete reception tasks such as taking bookings, preparing invoices, and checking guests in and out
• Answer phone and email enquiries promptly and professionally—with a smile your guests can hear
• Work closely with other teams to ensure rooms are guest‑ready and every stay runs smoothly
• Ensure guest accounts are accurate and all transactions are handled with care.
• Communicate clearly with your team to ensure smooth handovers and happy guests.
• Support the team with any other tasks as needed—no job too big or small!
• Share local tips (best coffee, coastal walks, hidden gems!) to help guests experience the best of the region.

What you’ll bring

• Previous Front Office/Guest Service/Reservations experience and knowledge of front office computer and reservations systems (desirable).
• Newbook experience (desirable)
• A warm, enthusiastic attitude and a passion for delivering top‑notch guest service.
• Strong multi‑tasking skills and the ability to keep cool when things get busy.
• Excellent communication skills and a knack for making guests feel special.
• Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and public holidays as needed.
