Job summary

Artemus Group is seeking a Host for Stanley Manly at Manly Wharf in Sydney. You will be the face of the venue, welcoming guests, managing reservations, coordinating seating and ensuring every guest’s experience starts on a high note.

You will collaborate with floor and management teams to ensure seamless service, maintain the waitlist, handle arrivals, and support the front-of-house during service periods. RSA certification and flexible availability are valued as we open a new venue.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Host, Reception, Reservations or customer-facing hospitality role is highly regarded
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• RSA Certificate is preferred

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism
• Manage reservations and walk-in guests using the venue's booking system
• Coordinate seating to maximise guest flow and dining experience
• Communicate with floor and management teams for seamless service
• Maintain waitlist and provide updates on table availability
• Assist with guest arrivals and departures for a smooth experience
• Handle guest feedback and escalate concerns as needed
• Maintain the host stand and entry areas
• Support reservations and guest communications administratively
• Assist the wider front-of-house team during service
• Help establish service standards and contribute to opening team success
