Oaktree Talent Group & Future State Consulting is seeking a strategic thinker for a Commercial Excellence role in Melbourne. You will work on high-profile projects, framing ambiguous problems and delivering clear, actionable recommendations in partnership with senior leaders across multiple functions.

You’ll collaborate with a team of former strategy consultants, gaining structured onboarding and rapid responsibility for own projects in a fast-growth environment.

Qualificações

• 1.5 to 3 years’ experience in management consulting with a focus on strategy.
• Strong command of the strategy toolkit, with structured problem‑solving, research and financial modelling.
• Ability to break down ambiguous problems and turn complex analysis into clear insights.
• Confident engaging a wide range of stakeholders, from frontline teams to executives.
• Pragmatic, accountable working style and ability to work independently quickly.

Responsabilidades

• Lead strategic projects and workstreams end to end from framing problems to actionable recommendations.
• Shape business unit strategy and growth plans with MD and Exec Team.
• Build robust commercial and financial analyses for high-stakes decisions.
• Develop board and executive communications that tell evidence-based stories.
• Partner with senior leaders across Finance, Merchandising, Marketing, eCommerce and Supply Chain.
• Support growth strategies across retail, B2B, private label and loyalty propositions.
• Monitor market trends to identify growth opportunities and threats.
• Act as a thought partner on commercial initiatives led by other functions.
