Job summary

MW Recruitment on the Gold Coast is seeking a Business Services Accountant with 3–5 years in Australian public practice. You will manage a diverse client portfolio and prepare financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and SMSFs, with involvement in BAS and IAS.

CA/CPA would be ideal; Xero experience is preferred, Handisoft a bonus. Join a supportive team in a modern office with structured development opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years' experience in an Australian public practice firm (essential).
• Degree in Accounting, Commerce or Business.
• CA or CPA completed or underway (preferred).
• Working knowledge of Division 7A, CGT and FBT.
• Xero experience (Handisoft a bonus).

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and SMSFs.
• Prepare BAS and IAS.
• Work on Division 7A, CGT and FBT matters.
• Manage client relationships and day-to-day queries.
• Work across varied and complex client matters as part of a supportive team.
