Michael Page is assisting an ASX listed client in Melbourne to appoint a Group Reporting Manager. The role oversees consolidated reporting, statutory compliance and group governance in a large multinational. Initial 12-month contract with opportunities for ongoing engagement.

The role requires CA/CPA or equivalent, strong leadership, and extensive experience in financial reporting within inventory environments, partnering with senior leaders to drive insights and improvements.

Qualificações

• CA/CPA or equivalent qualification is required.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and reporting requirements.
• Experience leading financial reporting in inventory/stock-based environments.
• Proven ability to lead and manage teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency with financial systems and reporting tools.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and deliver consolidated financial reporting in line with statutory, regulatory and group requirements.
• Lead monthly, half-year and annual reporting for key stakeholders.
• Provide technical accounting advice on complex transactions and policies.
• Manage year-end audit processes and liaise with external auditors.
• Drive continuous improvements in reporting processes, controls and systems.
• Partner with senior leaders to provide accurate financial insights for decision making.
• Assess new accounting standards and ensure compliance and governance.
• Contribute to finance transformation and strategic reporting initiatives.
