Job description

CreditorWatch is entering its next chapter — and it's an exciting one.

We're a leading Australian data and technology company transforming how businesses manage commercial risk, make credit decisions and improve cash flow. Since 2010, we've built a strong position in the market, helping thousands of businesses make smarter decisions through our data, insights and technology.

Following our acquisition by global private equity firm Warburg Pincus, we have a new opportunity to build on that success and take the business to the next level. With an established platform, ambitious growth plans and plenty of opportunity ahead, we're focused on scaling our impact and shaping what comes next.

We're also proud to have been recognised as one of the AFR's Top 10 Best Places to Work and certified by Great Place to Work across 2022-2025. For people who want to make a meaningful impact in a growing business, this is an opportunity worth exploring.

Our Purpose

Empower Australian businesses to trade confidently with their customers.

Our Mission

We aim to be number one in our industry by delivering unique data insights and innovative products.

We've got an exciting new position to join our product team as Group Product Manager to own our core Manage portfolio, drive innovation, and lead multiple product squads to deliver meaningful customer and business outcomes. In this role, you will define the vision and shape the product strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives, customer needs and long-term platform strategy, while driving end-to-end execution across the product lifecycle.

Operating at the intersection of strategy, data and delivery, the Group Product Manager works closely with Engineering, Data, Product Design and key stakeholders across the business to drive product innovation, scale adoption and deliver measurable impact. You will have one direct report (Senior Product Manager) and mentor/lead the Manage triad (Product Design, Tech leads). This is an AI product management role that balances strong product leadership with hands‑on involvement in roadmap development, prioritisation and day‑to‑day delivery.

Reporting to: General Manager, Product

What you'll own
  • Own and evolve the product vision, strategy and roadmap for a suite of products (Monitoring, Debtor Management, DebtorLogic) within our core product domain - with a strong focus on building new AI-led products.
  • Translate market, customer and business insights into clear product direction and prioritised initiatives
  • Ensure product decisions balance customer value, technical feasibility and commercial outcomes
  • Lead, mentor and develop the Senior Product Manager, fostering accountability, ownership and a customer‑centric approach
  • Provide leadership and direction across the wider Manage product team, aligning Product, Design and Engineering around shared priorities, effective collaboration and delivery outcomes
  • Build strong product management practices, ways of working and continuous improvement, strengthening capability and accountability across the broader team
  • Lead delivery teams to execute against the roadmap, driving prioritisation, removing blockers and ensuring timely releases
  • Maintain strong oversight of day‑to‑day product delivery, ensuring outcomes are met and value is realised
  • Partner closely with Engineering and Design to ensure high‑quality, scalable and maintainable product solutions
  • Collaborate cross functionally to align product initiatives with broader business goals
  • Influence senior stakeholders through clear communication, data backed recommendations and well‑articulated business cases
  • Ensure shared understanding of product goals, progress and trade‑offs across teams
  • Use qualitative and quantitative data to inform product decisions, measure success and optimise outcomes
  • Synthesise customer feedback, market trends and performance data into actionable insights
  • Drive continuous improvement across product processes, rituals and team capability
What you'll bring
  • Demonstrated experience owning and scaling AI/ML‑powered products, including generative AI, predictive models or decisioning systems
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts (e.g. model lifecycle, training data, evaluation metrics, limitations and risks) and how to translate them into customer value
  • Proven track record defining product vision, strategy and roadmaps for technology or SaaS platforms (embedded AI capabilities or AI‑first product experience a plus)
  • Experience leading and developing high‑performing teams in complex, cross‑functional environments
  • Strong technical fluency with the ability to collaborate deeply with Engineering and Data Science teams
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts and align teams
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders using data‑driven insights and clear business cases
  • Results‑driven mindset, balancing user value with pragmatic commercial outcomes
  • Strong delivery leadership capability, including prioritisation, dependency management and release execution
  • Demonstrated ability to take market and customer insights, to design and scale AI‑enabled user experiences, automation, recommendations and human‑in‑the‑loop workflows.

Use it. We'd think less of you if you didn't.

We see AI as an opportunity to improve how we work, and we're interested in people who are already experimenting with it in practical ways.

Write the first draft of your application yourself, then use AI to sharpen it rather than replace your thinking. You can also expect to use AI during at least one stage of the interview process. We're interested in how you work with it, not whether you can work without it.
