Job summary

Genesis Fitness Clubs in Port Macquarie is seeking a Personal Fitness Coach to deliver 45-minute Coaching Zone sessions and train members in heart-rate-based workouts using Myzone technology and our Coaching Zone app.

You'll work with the Head Fitness Coach on business development, member engagement, and program growth. The role emphasizes energy, enthusiasm, and helping members achieve fitness goals within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Engage and coordinate a group of clients.
• Demonstrate inspirational leadership qualities.
• Hold a Certificate 3 in Fitness and current AusActive registration.
• Maintain First Aid and CPR qualifications.
• Have a NSW Working with Children Check.
• Hold a valid Driver's Licence.
• possess Level 1 Boxing credential and Strength & Conditioning Level 1.
• Understand movement training and mechanics of lifting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structured 45-minute SGPT sessions.
• Participate in weekly coach development.
• Service existing Coaching Zone members.
• Grow the program through sales, support and training.
• Follow systems and processes.
• Inspire and lead a group of members.

The Role

As one of ourPersonal Fitness Coaches, you will be trained to deliver Coaching Zone sessions (small group training) as part of our revolutionary Coaching Zone program. We will train you to deliver these amazing programs, also in Myzone heart rate training technology (a key component of our program), as well as our full nutrition program and the Coaching Zone app. Our coaches love helping members by having fun and generating an amazing level of energy in the sessions (Your experience in group fitness classes will be well regarded, but not essential).

You will work closely with our Head Fitness Coach and delve deep into the business development that ensures you an amazing Coaching Zone Coach.

• Effective Movement Trainer/ Mechanics of Lifting/Function Training
