Our Group GM Finance is responsible for the day-to-day management of the accounting function, providing hands-on leadership and support to the finance team. Fostering a commitment to continuous improvement, you will be responsible for the management of a large team of accountants, clerks and admin staff, providing guidance, mentorship and leadership to the team. You will recognise talent, high-performance and support professional development and growth. You will need to be competent in managing an effective internal audit process and overseeing the external audit program. You will manage the various month end processes for the Group and each Business Unit including managing accounts close-off, work in progress, preparing and processing period end journals, balance sheet reconciliations and internal reporting requirements. You will project manage internal/external audit requirements and lead operational relationships with external Auditors and Bankers.
