We're an innovative, rapidly expanding company that loves helping businesses grow by connecting them with the right people. We're fully remote, which means you can work from anywhere in Australia. We believe in flexibility, collaboration, and empowering our team members to do their best work. We also value a healthy work‑life balance, so we work hard but also take the time to enjoy life outside of work.
The Position:
We're on the lookout for a self‑motivated Appointment Generator to help us connect with new customers and set up meetings for our sales team. As the first point of contact, you'll play a key role in helping our company grow by building relationships with potential clients and creating opportunities for our sales team to close.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Reaching Out: You'll be responsible for finding and contacting potential clients. Whether its through cold calling, emails, or LinkedIn messages, you'll make the first impression and kick off the conversation.
- Setting Appointments: Your main goal will be to schedule discovery calls, demos, or consultations for our sales team to take over. You're helping to get the yes and handing the ball to the experts.
- Building Relationships: You'll go beyond just setting appointments; you'll work on building trust and understanding the needs of each prospect. By asking the right questions and connecting on a personal level, you'll be the one starting the conversation that leads to a long‑term relationship.
- CRM Management: You'll keep track of your outreach activities and follow‑ups in our CRM to ensure no lead is left behind and everything stays organized.
- Team Collaboration: You'll work closely with our sales team to ensure a smooth transition from the initial conversation to the closing phase, ensuring that everyone's on the same page.
What Were Looking For:
- At least a year of experience in a sales, lead generation, or appointment‑setting role (experience in remote work is a bonus!).
- You're a great communicator whether its on the phone, via email, or through chat, you know how to keep people engaged and interested.
- You're results‑driven with a strong work ethic and are ready to put in the effort to hit your goals.
- You've got a knack for starting conversations and building relationships with people quickly, getting them to open up and share their needs.
- Comfortable using CRM systems, LinkedIn, email tools, and anything else that comes your way (don't worry, we'll train you if you need it).
- Able to work independently and stay self‑motivated, especially since we're 100% remote.
- Must be based in Australia and legally able to work here.
What Makes This Place Special:
- Work From Anywhere: As long as you're in Australia, you can work from wherever you're most comfortable. No more commuting or being stuck at a desk all day.
- Competitive Pay: We offer a solid base salary plus performance‑based bonuses, so your efforts don't go unnoticed.
- Opportunities for Growth: We're growing quickly, and we want you to grow with us! There's plenty of room for advancement if you're ready to take on more responsibilities.
- A Fun, Supportive Team: We work hard, but we also have a lot of fun. You'll be joining a team that's all about collaboration, support, and making sure everyone succeeds.
- Work‑Life Balance: We're all about flexibility. If you need time off, you can take it. Life happens, and we want to make sure you have time for what matters.
Ready to Make an Impact?
We want to hear from you!
Business Development Representative – Remote
Business Development Representative — Own the Entire ANZ Funnel
IFSCloud · Australia & NewZealand · Fullyremote · $95,000–$110,000 base + 12% super · $125,000–$140,000 OTE
You start with two live opportunities. One is a qualified engagement worth approximately $900,000, and the other has been scoped and is waiting on a formal response. Both are handed to you in week one, and building the method that finds the next twenty is the rest of the job.
Why This Role Exists Now
InfoConsulting is a pure‑play IFS Cloud partner. We sell, implement and support one product across project‑, asset‑ and service‑intensive industries — mining, construction, utilities, manufacturing and engineering services. The global business has been doing this for more than twenty years across nine offices. The Australian business is four years old, and most of what we have won here has come through referrals, industry events and relationships we already held.
That approach has worked, and it depends on the right opportunities finding their way to us. The next stage is a method for identifying and qualifying the accounts worth pursuing across Australia and New Zealand, ideally before they go to market. You build that method and you own it: how the territory is segmented, which sectors we lead with, what the outreach looks like and which accounts we leave alone. It becomes the way ANZ operates, and your name is on it.
We have set this role up carefully, because a first commercial hire in a new market only works if the groundwork is done before day one. Your stack is provisioned and tested before you start, your measures are written down before you accept, and you have a structured review every fortnight from week one rather than a single assessment at day 90. Kevin Richards, our Regional Sales Manager, runs those reviews, and they exist so that a blocked account becomes a shared problem quickly.
What You Own
- A qualified pipeline across ANZ. You identify the accounts worth pursuing, you do the qualification work, and you book our Regional Sales Manager into meetings that justify an hour of his time. The number of those meetings is the measure we care about most.
- Two live opportunities from week one. Both are genuine and both are warm. One has already been reported internally as a qualified opportunity, and the other is scoped and awaiting a formal response.
- Eight accounts that stalled. We hold a list of businesses that were in the market for ERP and did not proceed, and in most cases we know why. Your first campaign reopens those conversations, and you decide how it runs.
- Pipedrive as our global system of record. You own the quality of the data and the discipline around it, which means influencing how consistently the rest of the business uses it.
- The working relationship with IFS. You sit on fortnightly calls with their alliance team regionally and globally. What you bring back from those calls shapes which accounts we pursue jointly and which we leave alone.
- The industry message. You work with Marketing on how we position ourselves in each sector, because you hear the objections first and hear them most often.
What Good Looks Like
At 90 days
- Every cadence is running as intended, fortnightly with IFS and monthly with our partners and advisors.
- Both inherited opportunities have a documented next step, and neither has been allowed to go quiet.
- The stalled‑account campaign is live, the contact data is refreshed, and the first meetings are booked.
- You can explain the difference between ERP, EAM
