Job summary

Belgravia Leisure seeks passionate group fitness instructors to teach AQUA at Gympie Aquatic Recreation Centre. Candidates with relevant certifications and a strong customer-service ethos are invited to join a community-focused team. Previous experience with diverse classes like Boot Camp, BODYPUMP, and Zumba is advantageous.

Applicants should hold current Fitness Australia registration, First Aid/CPR, and Working with Children checks, with availability mornings, evenings, and weekends essential.

• Certificate III in Fitness or equivalent.
• Current Fitness Australia or Physical Activity Australia registration.
• Senior First Aid and CPR certificates.
• Working with Children Check and Police check.
• Availability mornings, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Teach AQUA classes at Gympie Centre.
• Deliver a range of classes including Boot Camp, Les Mills BODYPUMP, Zumba, etc.
• Engage members with excellent customer service.
• Comply with safety and program standards.

The Role

We are looking for amazing group fitness instructors to teach AQUA at our Centre.

Experience desired, qualification needs to meet industry standards.

We also have Boot Camp, Les Mills BODYPUMP, Boxercise, Deep Water Aerobics, Fast Track, Gentle Circuit, Hydrotherapy, Master Squad, Metabolic Pump, Pilates, Stretch, Swiss ball & Zumba if you are interested in teaching any of these classes.

Skills & Attributes:

• A demonstrated commitment to customer service and well developed communication skills
• Certificate III in Fitness, Fitness Leaders Course, Exercise to Music Module or Group Exercise Leader Les Mills (GEL).
• Relevant Program Certification (eg -Aqua Aerobics, Deep Water Running, Yoga, Pilates, Boxing, Barre, Cycle, Circuit, Les Mills)
• Current fitness registration with Fitness Australia or Physical Activity Australia
• Current Senior First Aid Certificate
• Current CPR Certificate
• Working with Children's Check
• Agree to undergo police check as part of the employment process
• Driven to success with friendly can do attitude
• Availability to work mornings, evenings and weekends is essential

Previous industry experience is highly regarded!
