About the Role: Apollo Care is seeking an experienced Group Financial Controller to oversee financial operations across our aged care network. Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a pivotal leadership role responsible for financial reporting, compliance, cash flow management, and supporting strategic growth initiatives.

This is a remote role, offering flexibility while contributing to the financial strength and sustainability of a leading aged care organisation. Occasional travel may be required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee financial reporting, compliance, and governance across the group.
  • Lead cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis to support decision-making.
  • Partner with the CFO and executive team on strategic initiatives, including M&A, capital projects, and risk management.
  • Ensure effective oversight of outsourced bookkeeping and accounting functions.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and audit readiness.
About You

We are looking for a values-driven finance leader who combines technical excellence with strategic insight.

You will bring:
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in a senior financial management role (experience in healthcare or aged care desirable, but not essential).
  • CPA, CA, or equivalent, with a Master's in Finance or other advanced qualifications highly regarded.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • High-level analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
