With consistent growth supported by both organic expansion and selective acquisitions, the business is undergoing significant transformation and remains a key player in the Australian technology market.

This is a pivotal leadership opportunity for a seasoned finance executive to shape and elevate the financial operations of a high-growth, mid-sized ASX-listed enterprise. The role demands a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise and a commercial mindset, capable of building a scalable finance function that supports ongoing growth and acquisition activity.

You will be responsible for the full spectrum of financial reporting and compliance, including ASX obligations, while driving operational excellence across the finance team. This role is ideal for a candidate who excels in a fast-paced environment and has a proven ability to lead through change.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver timely, insightful financial and management reporting to executive leadership and the Board.
  • Lead the preparation of statutory accounts and ASX disclosures, including Appendix 4D and 4E.
  • Partner with senior business leaders to provide strategic financial guidance and performance analysis.
  • Oversee integration of newly acquired entities, including purchase price allocation and systems alignment.
  • Manage external audit and tax relationships, ensuring compliance and optimal outcomes.
  • Drive cash flow forecasting and treasury oversight, including FX risk management.
  • Maintain and enhance financial systems, controls, and reporting frameworks.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team across domestic and offshore operations.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance across ASIC, ABS, and other statutory bodies.
  • Support investor relations through the development of financial presentations and insights.
Candidate Profile
  • CA qualified with a minimum of 10 years post-qualification experience.
  • Background in chartered accounting and subsequent commercial leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated success in ASX-listed environments, ideally within sub-$500m revenue businesses within the last 12 -24 months.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge, including current standards and disclosure requirements.
  • Proven experience in acquisition onboarding and financial integration.
  • Advanced financial modelling and Excel capabilities.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
