Qualifications

• Qualified in fitness with relevant certificates and registrations.
• Ability to deliver group exercise classes safely and effectively.
• Willingness to complete additional Freestyle Instructor training if needed.
• Current First Aid, CPR and working with children checks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead energetic group exercise classes across our fitness clubs.
• Deliver excellent customer service and motivate participants.
• Attend in-house trainings and maintain safety standards.

The Role

Genesis is looking for enthusiastic and motivated Group Exercise Instructors to work with a great team. If you think you are a star performer packing classes with your passion, skill and with the support of the world’s leading then Genesis Fitness is for you.

Our instructors must be qualified in their chosen field such as;

• Freestyle Trained

Skills & Attributes:

• A demonstrated commitment to customer service and well developed communication skills
• Cert III in Fitness, Fitness Leaders Course, Exercise to Music Module or Group Exercise Leader Les Mills (GEL).
• Willingness to complete Freestyle Instructor course if required
• Working with Children’s Check
• Current Senior First Aid Certificate
• Current CPR Certificate
• Infection Control Training certificate (COVID-19)
• Prepared to participate in in-house training
• Current fitness registration with Fitness Australia or relevant body preferred
• Agree to undergo police check as part of the employment processDriven to success with friendly can do attitude
• Availability to work evenings and weekends is essential

Previous industry experience is highly regarded!
