Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. is expanding its Water Resources team in Australia. We seek a Project Hydrogeologist to support groundwater investigations, field programs and data analysis across Perth, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and regional sites.

You will contribute to groundwater assessments, site investigations and risk evaluations for energy and resource clients, using Leapfrog, ArcGIS and MODFLOW. A MSc in hydrogeology is preferred and willingness to travel to remote sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in geology/earth science or related field.
• Post graduate MSc in hydrogeology preferred.
• Proven ability to work on multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise fieldwork, drilling, logging and sampling.
• Prepare technical reports, plans and proposals.
• Perform groundwater monitoring, hydraulic testing and data analysis.
• Develop concept models and GIS-based maps and figures.
• Travel to client sites as needed and work on remote projects.
