Job summary

Recruitment 24/7 is seeking a reliable Groundsman for an immediate start across Bundamba & Springerfield, QLD. The role is casual/temporary, outdoors-focused and involves keeping grounds safe, tidy and well-presented.

Responsibilities include lawn care, hedging, weed control and equipment operation. A valid MR licence, White Card, Blue Card, and Certificate III Horticulture are preferred, with strong safety awareness and the ability to work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• Experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping is preferred.
• Operates outdoor equipment such as mowers and trimmers.
• Valid MR Licence or ability to drive with a trailer is advantageous.
• Reliable, safety-minded and physically fit for outdoor work.

Responsibilities

• Mow, edge and maintain lawns and turf areas.
• Prune, trim and perform general garden upkeep.
• Weed control and mulching as required.
• Operate and maintain groundskeeping machinery.
• Remove rubbish and tidy the site after works.
• Plant trees, shrubs and gardens as needed.
• Identify maintenance issues and report them.

Groundsman – Immediate Start – Multiple Locations, QLD

Pay Rate: $39.23/hr (casual)
Location: Bundamba & Springerfield, QLD
Hours: Monday to Friday, full time hours
Start Date: Immediate start available
Employment Type: Temporary, casual

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Groundsman to join our Client’s team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining site to a high standard, ensuring grounds are safe, tidy, and well-presented at all times. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, and has a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Mowing, edging, and maintaining lawns and turf areas
• Pruning, trimming, and general garden maintenance
• Weed control and mulching
• Operating and maintaining groundskeeping machinery and equipment
• Rubbish removal and site clean-up
• Planting trees, shrubs, and gardens as required
• Identifying and reporting maintenance issues
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, gardening, or a similar role preferred
• Ability to operate mowers, whipper snippers, hedge trimmers, and other outdoor equipment
• Driving ability and use of trailer
• Strong work ethic and physical fitness
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
