Job summary

Northrop Grumman Australia is seeking a hands-on aircraft ground handler in Canberra to maintain aircraft presentation, assist with towing, servicing and ground movements, and support daily operations in a VIP aviation environment.

The role requires Australian citizenship, the ability to obtain an NV1 clearance, and a pragmatic, detail‑oriented approach. You’ll work with maintenance and operations teams to ensure readiness and safety.

The Role

If you're someone who takes pride in high standards and enjoys hands-on work around aircraft operations, this role offers a mix of aircraft presentation, ground handling and operational support.

Working as part of the Special Purchase Aircraft team, you'll help keep aircraft clean, presentable and ready for service. You'll work closely with maintenance and operations personnel, supporting daily aircraft movements while maintaining the safety and professionalism expected in a VIP aviation environment.

This role is based in Canberra and requires the ability to obtain and maintain an NV1 ASIC clearances.

Key Responsibilities

About You

You’ll enjoy this role if you're practical, reliable and genuinely care about the quality of your work.

You may already have experience in aviation, transport, logistics, facilities, automotive detailing or another hands‑on operational environment where safety and attention to detail matter.

You'll bring:
