Job summary

Petbarn in Hoxton Park is seeking an experienced Grooming Salon Manager to lead a team and oversee all grooming services. The role requires clipping and scissoring across breeds, staff training, and strong client service.

The successful candidate will manage bookings, invoicing and operations, with a focus on quality, consistency, and staff development. A grooming trial is part of the process.

Qualifications

• 3 years of professional grooming experience.
• Ability to complete all grooming services without supervision.
• Advanced knowledge of grooming techniques, equipment, and breed/coat types.
• Ability to provide consultation, quoting, bookings, invoicing, ordering and operational tasks.
• Experience in operations management and leading a grooming team.
• Able to complete 6-8 grooming services per day.
• Strong customer service with excellent dog handling and breed knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Clip and style across all breeds and maintain grooming quality.
• Train and develop a passionate grooming team.
• Oversee bookings, invoicing, ordering, and day-to-day operations.
• Manage salon operations and team performance to meet targets.
• Participate in a two-hour grooming trial as part of the process.

As a Salon Manager you must be able to clip and scissor across all breeds and train and develop a passionate team.
