Job summary

Petbarn on the Gold Coast is seeking an experienced Grooming Salon Manager in Oxenford to lead a busy grooming team and ensure exceptional pet care.

You will clip across all breeds, mentor staff, manage bookings, invoicing and day-to-day operations, with a guaranteed income and bonus program. A strong customer-service orientation and animal handling skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 3 years of professional grooming experience.
• Ability to complete all grooming services without supervision.
• Advanced knowledge of grooming techniques, equipment and breed/coat types.
• Ability to provide consultation, bookings, invoicing, ordering and operational tasks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee grooming operations and lead the grooming team.
• Manage consultations, bookings, invoicing and inventory.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and animal welfare.
• Complete 6-8 grooming services per day and conduct a grooming trial.

As a Salon Manager you must be able to clip and scissor across all breeds and train and develop a passionate team.

What do we need?

3 years of professional grooming experience

The ability to complete all grooming services without supervision

Advanced knowledge of grooming techniques equipment and breed/coat types

The ability to provide consultation quoting, bookings, invoicing ordering and operational tasks

Be able to complete all aspects of operations management and team management

Complete at least 6-8 grooming services per day

The successful candidates will have a strong customer service approach with excellent dog handling skills and breed knowledge.

As part of this process, you will be asked to complete a two-hour grooming trial.
