Job summary

HelloFresh in Sydney, Australia is seeking a Buyer to own the Grocery category, balancing speed, cost, and risk. You will collaborate with Strategic Procurement, Production, Menu Planning, Warehouse and Logistics teams to build smarter end-to-end buying processes and tools.

The role involves supply planning, supplier reviews, incident resolution, inventory management and cross-functional collaboration to drive continuous improvement. A proactive, data-driven mindset and food interest are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience or exposure to procurement, operations or supply chain roles.
• Organised, proactive and collaborative with strong communication skills.
• Able to analyse data and drive process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Own supply planning for Grocery category and manage PO accuracy.
• Lead supplier reviews and monitor On-Time In-Full metrics.
• Resolve supply-related incidents and maintain inventory balance.
• Drive lifecycle management and SKU rationalisation.
• Assist with cost reporting and invoice discrepancies.
• Collaborate with production, culinary and logistics teams to optimize processes.
