Job summary

GE Vernova in Melbourne is seeking a process-driven project leader to drive high‑value grid infrastructure initiatives across ANZ. You’ll oversee end‑to‑end delivery from tender handover to site commissioning and warranty, balancing safety, quality, and financial targets.

You’ll coordinate with global factories and local subcontractors, manage contract terms and FATs, and own project P&L while ensuring timely imports, logistics, and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Project Management.
• 3–5 years of project management experience in high‑value infrastructure or utilities.
• Strong stakeholder management and contractual acumen.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Governance: Oversee project lifecycles, ensuring safety, financial, and quality standards.
• Strategic Coordination: Interface for customers, manage contract terms, approvals, and FATs.
• Supply Chain Management: Coordinate with global factories and local subcontractors for imports/logistics.
• Risk Mitigation: Identify risks early and implement mitigating actions.
• Financial Stewardship: Own project P&L, billing, cash collection, and claim management.
