Job summary

Moama Bowling Club in New South Wales is seeking an energetic Green Keeper / Grounds Person to join our greens team. You will help cultivate, maintain and prepare the bowling greens and surrounds, and contribute to the upkeep of lawns and gardens across the Club.

This role suits someone who enjoys the outdoors, is fit, and can work early mornings and weekends. Previous qualifications are nice to have, but a willingness to learn and follow procedures is valued.

Qualifications

• Previous Green Keeping qualifications will be highly regarded but not essential.
• Proven previous experience in the use of gardening tools & machinery.
• Be available early mornings and weekends.
• Willingness to learn new skills and follow procedures.
• Physical capabilities to cope with strenuous workload.
• Enjoy working in the outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the cultivation, maintenance and preparation of all bowling greens and their surrounds
• Maintenance & upkeep of all lawns and gardens across the Club
• Use chemicals and fertilizers
• Ensure adherence to safe work practices and procedures
