Job summary
The Oxley Golf Club in Brisbane is seeking an experienced Greenkeeper or Grounds Person for a full-time role to maintain our 18-hole course and surrounding grounds, including turf, irrigation, and equipment upkeep.
You will join a team supporting a major redevelopment, with a focus on consistent course conditions, safety, and efficient maintenance. Flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, are required, with opportunities for training and development.
Qualifications
- Experience in golf course maintenance or grounds work.
- Practical knowledge of turf management and irrigation.
- Ability to operate common landscaping equipment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.
Responsibilities
- Carry out mowing, edging, and maintenance of greens, fairways, and rough areas.
- Ensure the course is free of debris and in excellent playing condition.
- Operate and maintain equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and aerators.
- Assist with irrigation systems and monitor water usage.
- Identify and address pests, diseases, and other course issues.
- Collaborate to develop and follow maintenance schedules.
