Epping Plaza Hotel is seeking an experienced and motivated Gaming Supervisor to join our professional team in an overnight graveyard shift role. This position is ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has exceptional problem-solving abilities, and can confidently oversee gaming operations while delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise all overnight gaming room operations
• Ensure compliance with Victorian gaming, liquor, and responsible gambling legislation
• Deliver exceptional customer service and build positive guest relationships
• Lead, mentor, nurture, and support team members to achieve individual and venue goals
• Foster a positive team culture focused on service excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Monitor gaming floor activity and assist patrons with gaming machine enquiries
• Perform gaming, cash, and operational audits
• Conduct security and venue compliance checks
• Handle large cash transactions accurately and professionally
• Balance tills, process payouts, and maintain cash control proceduresPrepare and serve beverages in accordance with RSA requirements
• Maintain venue presentation, cleanliness, and stock levels
• Promote venue memberships, loyalty programs, and current promotions
• Respond effectively to customer concerns, incidents, and operational challenges

About You

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a Gaming Supervisor or similar leadership role within a hotel, club, or casino environment
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Strong cash handling, reconciliation, and auditing experience
• Proven ability to coach, develop, and support team members to achieve high performance standards
• Thorough understanding of Victorian gaming compliance and responsible gambling requirements
• Experience across gaming, bar service, wagering, and customer service operations
• Confident communicator with excellent leadership skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
• Highly reliable, organised, and self-motivated
• Comfortable working independently during overnight shifts

Essential Requirements

• Current Victorian RSA Certificate
• Current Victorian RSG Certificate
• Current Victorian Gaming Employee License
• Availability to work overnight graveyard shifts, including weekends and public holidays

Desirable (Not Essential)

• TAB Accreditation (TAB Basics and/or Advanced)
• First Aid Certificate
