Job summary

DEECA’s Marketing and Creative Services team is seeking a Graphic Designer on a 12‑month fixed term basis to deliver high‑quality design across print, digital and campaign channels. The role supports communicating departmental work to staff, stakeholders and the Victorian community.

You will create brand‑aligned materials including infographics, reports, presentations and social assets, collaborating within a busy in‑house team and helping strengthen DEECA’s visual communications.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience and proficiency in delivering high‑quality graphic design for digital and print.
• Ability to interpret briefs, manage multiple design jobs, and meet deadlines with stakeholder communication.
• Strong layout, typography, and accessibility understanding using Adobe Creative Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Develop engaging visual content for online and offline channels.
• Produce outputs across digital, print, campaigns and publications.
• Interpret briefs and provide design advice to internal stakeholders.
• Prepare accessible, brand‑aligned creative materials.
• Support templates, tools and resources for DEECA’s visual communications.
• Work independently and within the Marketing and Creative Services team.
• Contribute to a responsive, service‑oriented creative studio environment.
