Job summary

Cotton On, an iconic Australian fashion retailer, is seeking a creative Graphic Designer to join the Factorie Girls team. You will develop graphics and print designs across apparel, translating concepts into exciting product outcomes for a youth audience.

Working with Design, Buying and Trend teams, you’ll ensure artwork aligns with the Factorie DNA. A fast-paced environment and collaboration with like-minded creatives are key components of this role.

Qualifications

• Degree or qualification in Graphic Design, Textiles or Fashion Design.
• Experience as Graphic Designer/Textile Designer or similar role.
• Proficient with Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and MS Excel.
• Ability to interpret briefs and translate ideas into commercially relevant designs.
• Knowledge of graphic placement, repeat prints and artwork development.
• Ability to build relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
• Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for youth fashion and Factorie customer.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a creative and trend-driven Graphic Designer to join our Factorie Girls team. Working alongside Design, Buying and Trend, you will help bring our brand vision to life through commercial graphics and print designs that connect with our customer. You will support the development of graphics, placements and repeat yardages across apparel categories, ensuring all artwork reflects current trends and aligns with the Factorie brand DNA. We are looking for someone with a strong eye for design, a passion for youth culture and fashion, and the ability to translate creative concepts into exciting product outcomes. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Degree / qualification in a relevant field i.e. Graphic Design, Textiles or Fashion Design
• Demonstrated experience in a Graphic Designer, Textile Designer or similar role
• Proficient with Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and MS Excel
• Strong ability to interpret briefs and translate ideas into commercially relevant designs
• Knowledge of graphic placement, repeat prints and artwork development
• Ability to build effective relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
