Paxus Australia Pty Ltd. in Canberra is seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join our Digital Content & Communications team.

This hands-on role turns complex ICT ideas into clear, engaging visuals across campaigns, presentations, intranet pages and digital content. You'll create graphics and publications, shape layout and typography, improve accessibility, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate briefs into effective communications using SharePoint Online.

Graphic Designer | Digital Content & Communications

• Location: Canberra, office-based, five days per week
• Contract: ASAP to 30 September 2027
• Extension: Additional 12-month option
• Clearance: Current minimum NV1 security clearance required

If you enjoy taking complicated ideas and turning them into something clear, engaging and visually impressive, this could be the role for you.

We're looking for a talented Graphic Designer who can bring creativity, fresh thinking and strong design skills to a varied mix of digital communications projects.

One day you might be designing a campaign, the next creating a polished presentation, improving an intranet page or finding a better way to communicate a complex technical message.

It's a hands-on role for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work and knows how to balance creativity with practical communication.

What you'll be doing

• Creating engaging graphics, banners, campaign assets and digital content.
• Designing polished presentations, publications and communication materials.
• Helping make complex ICT and technology information easier to understand.
• Designing and maintaining intranet pages and content using SharePoint Online.
• Bringing fresh ideas to page layouts, accessibility and user experience.
• Working with stakeholders to turn briefs into effective visual communication.

What you'll bring

First and foremost, you're a good designer with a portfolio to prove it.

• Strong graphic design skills across digital and print-style publications.
• A good eye for layout, typography, branding and visual consistency.
• The ability to turn complex information into clear, engaging designs.
• An understanding of accessible and user-friendly design.
• The confidence to work with stakeholders, manage your own workload and deliver quality work.

A few extras we'd love to see:

Experience with SharePoint Online, UX, intranet publishing or designing communications for technology-related projects would be a bonus.

But we're not expecting you to tick every box. Strong design skills and the ability to learn are what matter most.
