Job summary

Verdex Equipment is seeking a hands-on graphic designer to shape our visual voice across catalogues, website, packaging and trade displays. You will layout large product catalogues, build banners for campaigns, and curate a cohesive image library.

You'll work closely with marketing, product and sales, reporting to the Head of Marketing, with a strong emphasis on print accuracy, brand consistency and timely delivery from brief to file delivery.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years' experience as a graphic designer, ideally working with product industries.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications or experience in lieu.
• Expert-level Adobe Creative Cloud — InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
• Strong print production knowledge
• Meticulous attention to detail, especially with technical specs, dimensions and product data
• Self-starter who can take a brief, ask the right questions and run with it

Responsibilities

• Design and layout product catalogues, brochures, spec sheets and sales collateral in InDesign
• Produce digital assets — website banners, landing page graphics, EDMs, paid ad creative and social content
• Edit and retouch product photography, and manage the image library so assets are consistent and easy to find
• Support the design of packaging, labels, assembly instructions and safety decals in line with product requirements
• Create trade show, showroom and signage artwork, including large-format and vehicle graphics
• Develop other artworks and presentations as required
• Prepare print-ready artwork and manage the relationship with printers and external suppliers through to delivery
• Work with the R&D team to turn technical specs and features into clear, benefit-led visuals — diagrams, infographics and application imagery
• Manage multiple briefs at once and keep projects moving to deadline
• Assist with development and maintenance of comprehensive brand guidelines, ensuring all templates and visual assets remain consistent and high-quality

Job description

You'll be the visual voice of the Verdex brand across everything a customer sees — catalogues, website, EDMs, packaging, trade displays and social. This is a hands-on design role with real variety: one day you're laying out a 100-page product catalogue, the next you're building banners for a campaign launch.
