Job summary

Worldwide Caboolture and North Lakes in North Lakes, QLD, is seeking an experienced Graphic Designer to join our busy commercial printing team.

You will handle graphic design, pre-press artwork preparation, and customer service, ensuring artwork is print-ready for digital and offset processes. A strong eye for detail and good communication with customers are essential, with full-time hours Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in graphic design and printing.
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
• Experience with pre-press requirements and preparing artwork for print.
• Experience dealing directly with customers and providing excellent customer service.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple jobs and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up artwork for digital and offset printing.
• Check customer-supplied artwork for print readiness, including sizing, bleed, margins, colour and resolution.
• Make adjustments and corrections to customer artwork where required.
• Create and modify artwork for business cards, flyers, brochures, booklets, posters and other printed products.
• Prepare print-ready PDF files and impose artwork where required.
• Ensure all artwork meets production specifications before proceeding to print.
• Work closely with the production team to ensure jobs are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Assist customers with enquiries relating to graphic design and printing.
• Provide advice on printing options, paper stocks, finishes and production requirements.
• Prepare quotes and follow up on customer enquiries.
• Communicate with customers regarding artwork requirements, proofs and job approvals.
• Manage multiple jobs and customer requests in a busy print environment.
• Provide professional and friendly customer service both over the phone and in person.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Graphic Designer to join our team at Worldwide Caboolture and North Lakes.

This is a varied, hands-on role combining graphic design, pre-press artwork preparation and customer service within a busy commercial printing environment.

The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing customer artwork for print production, checking files, setting up jobs for both digital and offset printing, and assisting customers with their printing requirements.

We are looking for someone who has a good understanding of the printing industry, strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate confidently with customers.

Key Responsibilities

Graphic Design & Pre-Press

• Prepare and set up artwork for digital and offset printing.

• Knowledge of both offset and digital printing processes.
• Experience checking and correcting customer-supplied artwork.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple jobs at once.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.
