Job summary

Wesley Mission Queensland Limited is seeking a Senior Advisor - Grants and Tenders to lead the organisation's grants and tenders function in Queensland. You will drive identification, development and submission of high-quality funding applications in collaboration with Services and Finance, while building relationships across WMQ.

The role focuses on timely, strategic submissions to secure funding, support directorates, and maintain acquittals, with leadership of a small team and a strong

Qualifications

• Proven experience in writing grant and tender submissions.
• Strong project management skills to coordinate timely funding applications.
• Knowledge of Queensland and Australian grants landscape and strategy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder relationship management.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

• Lead WMQ's grants and tenders function and coordinate high-quality submissions.
• Identify, develop and submit competitive funding applications to secure funding.
• Build sustainable funding opportunities across WMQ’s departments.
• Write grant and tender submissions in consultation with Services and Finance.
• Support Directorsates in timely grant/tender acquittal reports and compliance.
• Coach and develop the Advisor - Grants and Tenders and promote continuous improvement.
