Job summary

Kogan.com is seeking a motivated Product Tester to drive customer experience by performing usability testing across a broad range of products. You will build reports, assess build and component quality, and communicate findings to stakeholders and suppliers.

Qualifications

• University Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar.
• Previous internship or work experience in Product Testing highly regarded.
• Excellent problem solver with strong attention to detail.
• Tech-savvy and able to use cloud-based tools to improve efficiency.
• Strong communication and engagement to build relationships.
• Ready to challenge and work within a disruptive business model.

Responsibilities

• Conduct usability testing on a wide range of electrical and non-electrical products.
• Break down products and complete formal reports evaluating build and component quality.
• Share reports with relevant stakeholders and suppliers.
• Provide advice on AS/NZS standards for tested products.
• Suggest improvements and changes to products or ranges where applicable.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide solutions and fixes for identified issues.
• Work with product and support teams to verify issues are resolved in updated samples and software.
• Maintain a clean and safe testing area in line with OH&S standards.
