Job summary

HDR’s Transport team in Brisbane is seeking enthusiastic Graduate Engineers to join our practice, with opportunities across roads/highways and bridges/structural engineering. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers delivering projects that improve connectivity and shape communities across Australia, gaining practical project experience, mentoring, and developing technical and professional skills.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
Graduation expected by end of 2026 or within last 12 months.
Interest in transport infrastructure, with focus on roads/highways or bridges/structural engineering.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Support delivery of transport infrastructure projects under guidance.
Assist with engineering calculations, design development, reports and documentation.
Develop technical engineering and project delivery skills through practical experience.
Apply engineering principles and industry standards to real‑world challenges.
Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams.
