Mako Trading in Sydney invites applicants to join a Graduate Trader programme designed to build deep knowledge of options markets through structured rotations and hands-on trading exposure.

You will work with senior traders, study option theory and risk processes, and rotate across desks to gain broad product experience while applying fast maths and programming skills in a dynamic market environment.

Qualifications

• A very high demonstrable level of mathematical ability.
• Programming ability with VBA and Python.
• Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• A STEM-based degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Participate in rotational training across trading desks to learn different product areas.
• Rotate across desks to gain broad exposure to markets and products.
• Learn from senior traders through structured classes on options theory and risk processes.
• Apply quick thinking and maths to real-time trading simulations and tasks.
