Job summary

Mako Trading in Sydney invites graduates to join its fast-paced, in-house real-time derivatives environment. As a Graduate Engineer you will be mentored by senior engineers and work on the low-latency trading system written in C++ on Linux.

You will develop fundamentals in algorithms, data structures and modern programming practices, with exposure to trading models, connectivity to venues and team-based projects.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• Knowledge of at least one mainstream OOP language such as C++, C#, Java, Java Script, Go.
• A degree in an STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) based subject or equivalent.
• An interest in financial markets.
