St Martin de Porres Primary School is a vibrant, multicultural Catholic community located in Melbourne’s western suburbs. We currently nurture 276 students across 12 classes. Teachers work in collaborative teams of two or three, creating a supportive environment that encourages innovation, shared learning and teamwork.

We are seeking an enthusiastic graduate teacher who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children. An contract classroom teaching position, with the year level to be negotiated with the successful graduate.

Applicants will be expected to:

  • willing to engage with the macs vision for instruction and vision for engagement, and apply these principles within the school setting.
  • displays enthusiasm for creating a vibrant, inclusive learning environment where all students are encouraged, challenged, and supported to grow.
  • demonstrates a developing ability to gather and use student data, with support, to inform planning and improve learning outcomes.
  • shows an understanding of evidence-based and high-impact teaching strategies, and a readiness to apply them in practice.
  • works collaboratively and positively with colleagues, valuing teamwork and shared professional learning.
  • commits to ongoing professional growth, reflection, and continuous improvement as part of the graduate teacher journey.
