Job summary

Optimum Health Solutions invites final-year or new graduate Speech Pathologists to join its Graduate Speech Pathologist Program across NSW and Tasmania. You'll work with paediatric and adult NDIS caseloads in a supportive multidisciplinary team.

The program provides structured supervision, weekly 1:1 mentoring, professional development, and a personalised career development plan, with opportunities for clinic-based and community therapy, and cross-disciplinary learning.

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech Pathology completed or near completion by 2026.
• Eligible for Speech Pathology Australia membership.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat communication and swallowing disorders across age groups.
• Develop and implement evidence-based therapy plans.
• Deliver speech pathology interventions for children and adults.
• Prescribe and use AAC and communication devices.
• Complete dysphagia and swallowing assessments.
• Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists and other team members.
• Liaise with GPs, families, schools and carers.
• Deliver therapy in clinic and community settings.
• Participate in ongoing supervision and professional development.
