Health Workforce Queensland is offering a 12-month Graduate Program for Speech Pathology in Toowoomba. You’ll join a passionate allied health team supporting children and families with evidence-based therapy, under multidisciplinary collaboration and dedicated supervision.

The program provides structured induction, buddy support, weekly supervision, ramp-up to independent caseload, and clear career progression, with generous benefits including relocation assistance, annual leave, and a bonus

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Speech Pathology.
• SPA registration or membership.
• Current Driver’s License and vehicle.
• Working with Children Check or Vulnerable People registration.
• NDIS workers screening check & Police Check.
• Accredited first aid & CPR.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Excellent observation and report writing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver early intervention speech pathology services to children and families.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and developmental needs.
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based therapy plans.
• Work collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary teams using a key worker approach.
• Monitor progress and adapt therapy programs accordingly.
• Maintain accurate documentation and required records; build stakeholder relationships.
