Job summary

Great Southern Bank offers an 18-month Graduate Program with three six-month rotations across different areas of the bank. You’ll work on real projects from day one and learn how a customer-owned bank operates, with structured development, coaching and networking to build your confidence and career.

Previous professional experience isn’t essential. Graduates from all disciplines are welcome, with rotations tailored to your interests and the needs of the business.

Qualifications

• A completed undergraduate degree, or be working towards completing one within the eligibility period for the intake.
• Curiosity and a genuine willingness to learn, ask questions and embrace new experiences.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the confidence to contribute your ideas and perspectives.
• Collaborative approach and the ability to build positive relationships with different people and teams.

Responsibilities

• Completing three six-month rotations across different areas of Great Southern Bank, based on your interests and business needs.
• Contributing to projects, initiatives and day-to-day activities that deliver better outcomes for customers and the business.
• Bringing fresh ideas and perspectives to challenges and helping identify practical solutions.
• Building relationships and collaborating with colleagues, leaders and stakeholders across the organisation.
• Taking ownership of your work and delivering quality outcomes while learning from the experience of those around you.
• Participating in structured learning, development, coaching and networking opportunities throughout the program.
• Applying what you learn across each rotation to new challenges and opportunities.
• Building skills and experience to transition into an ongoing career following the Graduate Program.
