UnitingCare Queensland invites applications for a Graduate Registered Nurse program commencing 1 February 2027 in Hervey Bay. The 12-month program is a permanent part-time role (0.8 FTE) offering 32 hours per week with a not-for-profit salary packaging option and penalties & allowances.

Eligibility includes completing a Bachelor of Nursing between January 2026 and February 2027 and eligibility for AHPRA by 1 February 2027. Applications close 4 October 2026.

Your Part In UnitingCare Hospitals Team

Over the course of our 12-month program (permanent role), you can expect to be exposed to varied and exciting clinical work. You will be provided the support and opportunity to consolidate your Nursing skills and learning, to deliver safe and holistic person-centred care, apply best clinical practice and ensure a safe environment for our patients. Working collaboratively with your multidisciplinary team, you will apply your exceptional communication and customer service skills.

To Be Eligible To Apply, You Will Need

and be able to commence the program on 1 February 2027

• Flexibility to work a full rotating roster (in a part-time 0.8 FTE position)

• Willingness to obtain required vaccinations in line with hospitals infection control requirements, as well as other probity checks required by legislation or company policy
