Job summary

Kyabram District Health Service in rural Victoria invites applications for a Graduate Nurse program. The role offers two 6-month rotations across acute clinical areas, allowing you to consolidate nursing theory and practice in a supportive environment.

You will be supported by the education team, clinical support nurses and nurse unit managers, with potential ongoing employment upon successful completion. This part-time fixed term program commences 25 January 2027, with 0.6–0.8 FTE available.

Qualifications

• Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Be registered through PMCV and allocate Kyabram District Health Service as a preference.
• Basic knowledge of patient management and information systems.
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Highly developed interpersonal skills and commitment to team objectives.
• Demonstrated evidence of excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Competent computer skills and knowledge of patient management and information technology systems.
• Ability to work across KDHS in the event of clinical escalation.

About The Role

An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated Registered Nurse to join the Graduate Nurse program in a supportive clinical environment. Graduates in the program rotate throughout 2 x 6 month rotations in acute clinical areas.
