Are you looking for your first opportunity as a Graduate Registered Nurse? Are you a committed and results-driven individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality outcomes whilst modelling the behaviours underpinning Eldercare's values of respect, accountability and connection?

Regular opportunities exist across 10 of our residential care sites to join the Eldercare team for a 1-year contract opportunity, with a view to move into a permanent role. Roles are available as 0.8 FTE, up to full time hours undertaking weekday shifts. (The graduate position does not include afternoon, night or weekend shifts).

As a Graduate Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Participate in an Aged Care Transition to Practice program with ANMEC
  • Work within a multi-disciplinary team
  • Work directly with residents
  • Collaborate with peers and other employees across the organisation
  • Increase your skills with direct support from colleagues, structured supervision and a thorough training program
  • Provide treatment that centres around evidence-based care
  • Help residents to achieve their goals

You will be responsible for delivering quality individualised nursing care to residents including complex care needs in particular wound and pain management. You will also have supervision responsibility for staff on the floor to ensure that care provided delivers excellence in customer service to our residents.
