Susquehanna International Group in Sydney CBD, NSW seeks a Graduate Quantitative Systematic Trader to bridge academia and live markets. You will explore ideas using market data, mathematics, statistics, and programming to generate trading signals.

You will backtest ideas, analyze performance, and, if profitable, collaborate with technology teams to push signals into production and monitor real‑time outcomes.

Qualifications

• Honours or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Research, or Economics
• Solid, analytical problem‑solving skills
• Excellent logical reasoning
• Strong communication skills in a fast‑paced and/or highly collaborative environment are essential
• Experience writing code to process and analyze large sets of data, especially in Python
• Experience in C++ or other low level programming languages is a plus
• Demonstrated interest in strategic games and/or competitive activities
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment

Responsabilités

• Investigate ideas by immersing in market data using mathematics, statistics and programming
• Backtest trading signals in a controlled environment to assess performance
• Collaborate with technologists to productionize profitable signals
• Monitor real‑time performance of embedded strategies in financial markets
• Discuss feedback with researchers, strategists and traders to brainstorm new ideas
• Iterate on quant projects as the life cycle begins anew
