Job summary

Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (PM&C) invites graduates in Marketing or Communications to apply for its 12-month graduate program in Canberra. The program offers multiple rotations, mentors, and a pathway to permanent placement, with flexible work-from-home arrangements and generous leave entitlements.

Qualifications

Recent university graduates in Marketing or Communications are welcome.
Eligible to start in February 2028.
Australian citizenship or right to work in Australia (assumed based on location) and willingness to relocate to Canberra.

Responsibilities

Support the Prime Minister, the Cabinet, Portfolio Ministers and Assistant Ministers.
Develop strategies and deliver communications across social media, editorial, speeches and strategic communications.
Create content, translate policy for public audiences and draft speeches for various stakeholders.
Contribute to content strategies and digital campaigns, including video, graphics and photography for social media.
