About the team

Step into your career with purpose as an External Auditor Graduate, where you'll play a crucial role in upholding financial integrity for leading organisations. In this role, you'll dive into diverse industries, working alongside experienced professionals to analyse financial records, identify risks, and ensure transparent reporting. You’ll have the opportunity to specialise in one of these teams:

• Financial Services (FS): banking, wealth management, superannuation, and insurance. These teams are based in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Canberra.
• Large & Complex (L&C): ASX-listed clients from various industries, including retail, energy, telecommunications, construction, mining and resources, technology, and healthcare. These teams are based in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

What will your typical day look like?

Day-to-day, you'll learn by doing. You'll work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to real client projects, and build your capability through feedback and support.

As a graduate in the Audit team, you'll:

• Provide audit, advisory, financial reporting, and accounting services to public, private, and not-for-profit clients.
• Apply design-thinking approaches to audit projects.
• Perform substantive audit testing using data analytics to develop and present annual audit plans and reports.

You won't be expected to know everything from day one. You'll be supported through structured learning, feedback and collaboration.

We're seeking final-year students or recent graduates (within two years) to join our graduate program.

You may have all or some of the following:

• Curiosity and a genuine interest in learning
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Interest in becoming an Auditor
• Comfort asking questions and learning through feedback
• Alignment with Deloitte’s values and inclusive culture
• You'll be studying towards or have completed a relevant Accounting degree
• You'll be eligible for the Chartered Accountants (CA) Program
