Qualifications

• Knowledge of the relevant curriculum with capacity to teach literacy and numeracy.
• Ability to implement high-impact teaching strategies and evaluate learning growth.
• Ability to monitor and assess student learning using data.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with students, parents and colleagues.
• Commitment to reflective practice and ongoing professional learning.

Responsabilités

• Plan and implement a range of teaching programs or courses of study.
• Teach an area of the curriculum to a year level.
• Monitor, evaluate and report student progress in key learning areas.
• Implement strategies to achieve targets related to student outcomes.
• Maintain records of class attendance and student progress.
• Manage student behaviour and support welfare programs.
• Work with mentor to develop professional portfolio and participate in PD planning.
