Woolcott Land Services is a leader in providing land development services, including surveying, town planning, bushfire assessments and project management across Tasmania. We are looking for a highly motivated Graduate or Registered Land Surveyor to join our team. The location of this position is flexible and can be located in Launceston or at a new office on the north-west coast.

THE ROLE

For north-west coast applicants, the possibility of an ongoing survey management role for a new office, depending on experience and capabilities

Conduct field surveys using GPS, robotic, total stations, and other surveying equipment

Data collection, analysis, and reporting for various projects

Prepare survey reports, plans, and other documentation

Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols

ABOUT YOU

Have knowledge of surveying principles and equipment (e.g., GPS, total stations, scanners)

Proficiency in survey software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar (preferred but not essential)

Exceptional communication skills and the ability to liaise with a variety of clients and third parties in a friendly and professional manner.

A natural ability to collaborate openly with team members and display a positive work ethic

Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Willingness to work outdoors and travel to project sites

A valid driver’s license & Industry White Card
